32 page . central insert with 17 horse engravings on glossy stock 10"
x 7 1/4" hardbound and the book is 3 1/2 inches thick (see photo below) Over
1200 pages Magners book (first printed
1893) was a standard reference for nearly three decades, and has been reprinted
as recently as 1980. Early editions, however, are difficult to find in acceptable
condition Brown cloth cover with gold and black
pictorial cover. Spine very bright and readable. All
pages are firmly attached. The front papers are somewhat fatigued at the binding
but still attached (see front and back cover pictures) No
writing, marks, tears inside. Very good condition
overall. This book is a classic, a real treasure
and so hard to find. It is 102 years old.
