Hi
Cherry,
Morton
buildings is building a barn for me and they are trying to figure out how to install
giant sliding screen doors as suggested in your barn book.
Can
they contact you to discuss this? If so, how should they do so? Thank
you for considering my request.
Edith
Hi
Edith,
I'm turning this question over to my co-author and partner, Richard
Klimesh
Hello Edith,
It is surprising how many types of screen doors
and windows are available for horse barns. There are sliding door screens of all
sizes, there are screens that roll up overhead and those that slide sideways on
a rod like a curtain.
Installation
methods will depend on the configuration of your barn, your horsekeeping style,
and the type of screen of door you choose. I think your builders would get the
best information and guidance by talking directly with the screen manufacturer
you go with.
Here are two screen manufacturers that
have a variety of screens for horse facilities. By visiting their websites you
can see what types of screens are available and then contact them for costs and
installation requirements and instructions.
