Ask-Cherry

This is for horse care, horse training and horse facilities questions only.

Cherry Hill would like to answer each and every one of your personal horse questions but time does not allow it. Only a handful of questions are answered each month. Here are some tips to help your question get answered.

1. Don't send photos or other attachments. Your e-mail will automatically be deleted.

2. Put a question in the SUBJECT line of your e-mail.

A question "asks" something. It usually starts with Who, What, When, Where, Why or How and ends with a question mark.
Example: "What should be in a foaling kit?" "Why does my horse bite his blanket?"

3.Then, in the BODY of the e-mail, give background details but stick to the facts.

4. Mail your question to

5. If your question is answered, it will be posted in the Ask Cherry section for the benefit of other readers. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, request that your name be changed when the letter is posted.

Be patient and don't be disappointed if your questions is not answered quickly or at all. Cherry receives many great questions each month. She is often away from the computer working on book, photo or video projects while at the same time, caring for and training her horses and managing Long Tail Ranch with her husband Richard Klimesh. The days are packed !

Please note that in an effort to answer more of your questions, besides answering them in conjunction with the monthly Horsekeeping newsletter, in April 2008 Cherry started a new weekly Ask Cherry section on the Horse Information Roundup.
