Keg or Lucky?

Keg Horseshoe is brand new out of the keg from the factory and has been treated with a clear finish.

Lucky Horseshoe is worn from being on a horse and has been cleaned and then treated with a clear finish.

The big differences are:

• A Keg shoe has a uniform symetric shape and a larger flat area at the toe (the bottom of the shoe shown at left) for embossing text because the toe has not been not worn.
• A Lucky Horseshoe, since it has been worn by a horse, will likely have an assymetric shape (like the hoof it was on), has wear marks and character, and is lucky.
