You can custom fit this concho belt to your waist size anywhere up to about 50 inches by sliding the conchos into position and punching a hole (or holes) where appropriate for the belt buckle and then cutting off any excess leather. There are two copper loops on the back of each concho for extra security. If you have never handled a Navajo concho belt, you might be surprised that the leather that is used for the belts is not as stiff as the leather customarily used in western belts, but is more supple and sometimes thinner. Traditionally, concho belts are worn as dress belts so the softer leather is fine and very comfortable. If you prefer a heavier, stiffer one inch belt, you could remove the conchos and add them to the belt of your choice. | ||||||||||||||||
