What is a Fetish?

A fetish is a rock carving of an animal that captures the spirit and the essence of the animal, not necessarily its exact detailed conformation. Every fetish and every stone is different and has its own unique features. Read more about fetishes.

Mountain Lion symbolizes grace, leadership, and strength. Lion has the natural ability to lead without insisting that others follow. She teaches the ability to be so true to yourself - in responsibility, honesty, responsibility -and to trust your inner knowledge and direction. Lion can impart power and self-confidence when dealing with problematic people. The Cherokee people considered Mountain Lion sacred because she has the power to see in the dark.

The Kingman Mine in Mohave County, Arizona produces bright blue stones with white and black matrix. This mine is considered by many to have produced the best turquoise in North America. The terms "Kingman" and "high blue" refer to high quality hard turquoise like that of the Kingman mine. Old authentic natural Kingman turquoise is extremely rare.
