The watch is a waterproof, dustproof, shock absorbing stainless steel Benrus.

It does not take a battery, it is a wind-up watch.
We wound it and it immediately began ticking with a smooth sweeping second hand.
This is a very vintage piece and the watch face is discolored per photo.
