  • Chunk Turquoise with white shell heishi in between. 33" long.
  • The largest chunks are 1" long.
  • This is made of natural turquoise that has been enhanced to protect the stones. Even so, there are a few broken stones, yet they are hard to see because of the irregular shape of the stones (see photos at right).

  • Double strand Vintage Santo Domingo Turquoise Nugget Necklace with Olive Shell Heishi.
  • Ties with waxed cord, the traditional way.
  • Can tie the shortest length at 26" and with two 9" strings, that would potentially add another 14-16" leaving something to make the knot. So quite adjustable.
  • In beautiful condition.

San Diego Pawn CollectionThe San Diego Collection

The items in the San Diego Collection came from an estate collection of a California widower. His wife had collected Native American jewelry during the 1960s - 1980s and was particularly fond of Santo Domingo Squash Blossom necklaces and Santo Domingo stone and heishi necklaces. She also had a very nice collection of bracelets, some of which were made by artists whose work is now highly collectible.
