Paula says: "This piece is (new old stock) that was made in the 1970s but never used - it is brand new vintage!"

Authentic Native American Vintage Turquoise Coral and sterling silver watch cuff by Navajo Rose Draper

4 turquoise and 2 coral cabochons.

Cabochon. A cabochon is a gemstone that has been smoothly shaped and polished as opposed to being cut with flat facets. This usually results in a stone with a rounded convex top and flat bottom. Opaque gems, such as turquoise are often cut as cabochons, while transparent stones such as diamonds are facetted.

Vintage Watch Cuffs

When we sell a vintage watch cuff, we sell it in the condition it was when we received it. The quartz timepiece shown came with this cuff and will stay with it. Some of our customers purchase these watch cuffs for their collections, others to wear, so we leave everything AS-IS and let you decide.

If you want to replace the timepiece or put a new battery in the timepiece but your local jeweler is not familiar with Native American jewelry, you can find contact information here for an excellent shop that we use for all of our jewelry repairs. After purchase from us, you can send the watch to them for a new timepiece or battery, resizing, or a face lift - anything from a light cleaning to a full polishing. - Paula

We leave the natural patina on our pawn jewelry because many of our customers like the old "vintage" appearance. If you'd like to clean up your silver jewerly, new or old, check out our handy silver cleaning and polishing cloth.
