Road Runner Medicine

Road Runner is a large black and white mottled bird with strong feet, a long tail and an over sized bill. It can run up to 18 miles per hour but can only fly for a few seconds at a time. Road Runner has a clownish gait when running or walking and reminds us to laugh at ourselves and not take things too seriously. Road Runner is one of the few birds quick enough to kill a rattlesnake and he teaches mental sharpness, quick thinking and fast responses and reflexes - knowing when to act quickly and efficiently when ideas and opportunities appear.
