Paula says - "The beautiful Raven feather on this bag is hand carved from buffalo bone and hand painted. We have several of these which all look very similar but each is handmade so might be slightly different than the one pictured."
Hand carved and painted raven feather from bison bone is 1 5/8" long.
Paula says - "This bag was entirely hand sewn and all materials, beads & findings are USA manufactured. Leather has variations that some may call imperfections but we think of as character. Each bag is unique and the photos and our comments will help you choose the perfect bag for you."
RAVEN/CROW - Raven and Crow are very similar in their strengths: both carry great responsibility to Spirit and are the messengers of magic and healing from the universe where all knowledge waits for us. They also symbolize changes in consciousness, of levels of awareness and perception. Shamans, Spiritualists & Healers with Raven/Crow Medicine are able to use their gifts with deeper clarity, understanding & insight, developing greater power & skill in their abilities.
Words from Apache artist Cynthia Whitehawk:
MEDICINE BAG: Medicine bags are ancient personal empowerment tools. Spiritually representing the wearer, they contain that which is most Spiritually significant & healing to the individual to help guide and protect one on their journey. This might include collected Spirit objects or totems, a small feather, beads, horse hair, healing gemstones & crystals, seeds, photos & more. Those items that are important to the wearer protect, grounds them to our Mother Earth and the Creator, and brings them strength & healing.
MY MISSION: We are thankful and honored to be able to respect the Spirits of the plants, animals and Mother Earths elements who give themselves and continue their life as healing tools for us. We offer these tools for Spiritual expression, to be in balance with Mother Earth and one's self.
