Hand braided neckstrap is an integral part of the bag's stitching line, so it is not reliant on the top flap for strength in carrying.

MEDICINE BAG: Medicine bags are ancient personal empowerment tools. Spiritually representing the wearer, they contain that which is most Spiritually significant & healing to the individual to help guide and protect one on their journey. This might include collected Spirit objects or totems, a small feather, beads, horse hair, healing gemstones & crystals, seeds, photos & more. Those items that are important to the wearer protect, grounds them to our Mother Earth and the Creator, and brings them strength & healing.

MY MISSION: We are thankful and honored to be able to respect the Spirits of the plants, animals and Mother Earths elements who give themselves and continue their life as healing tools for us. We offer these tools for Spiritual expression, to be in balance with Mother Earth and one's self.

HORSE: The Horse Spirit inspires our dreams, awakens passion, carries us far and fast, and brings us close to our instinctual and authentic nature. Horse enables us to move beyond our limitations and run freely. Spirit or Medicine Horses were and are extremely helpful in guidance, healing, protection and ceremony. Horse represents wisdom, physical power and unearthly power. Horse enables healers to travel in Spirit energy, using Horse to help guide them to the answer. Horses are symbols that can express our magical side. Horses are also known as symbols of Freedom & independence.

FOSSIL CORAL: A natural stone that is formed under certain geological conditions when prehistoric corals and mollusks fossilize by being replaced with agate (a from of quartz) from silica-rich ground water percolating through limestone. The fossilized coral typically appears as small flower-like patterns in the resulting stone. Colors of fossil coral range from white and pink to brown, gray, black, yellow and red. Agate is fairly hard and very durable, so fossil coral is suitable for all kinds of jewelry and carving. Fossil coral is the Florida State Rock.

JASPER: The work jasper comes from the Greek word, iaspis, which means "spotted stone." A form of microcrystalline quartz, jasper derives its colorful patterns from other minerals present, and is often named according to its pattern. Wild Horse Jasper, for example, is a striking combination of white with brown and small tan spots. Picture Jasper is a brown based stone with many swirls of darker brown to black. In bigger pieces these swirls seem to make pictures. It is generally opaque and has a dull luster but takes a fine polish. It is mined in North Africa, Sicily, France, India, Venezuela, Germany, the U.S.A. and elsewhere. It it thought by some that jasper has the power to drive away evil spirits and protect against bites of snakes spiders. It supposedly gives a person courage.
