Smudge Kit - Sacred Bowl Blessing

The Smudge Kit Medicine Bag is made from Deerskin or Elkskin, is hand sewn with sinew, has a drawstring top with 11 pony beads on one end. The beads are glass and metal, not plastic.

The generously sized bags are approximately 6" x 4" - some are a bit longer, some a bit wider. Each bag has two deerskin laces (approximately 1/2" wide) that are each approximately 36-40 inches long and when tied together, make for a very generous length that should suit all uses.

You can make all kinds of modifications to these bags to customize them to your particular needs and preferences such as shortening the laces, tying knots at the ends of the beads, removing the beads, relacing and rebeading so the beads end up in front or back and so on.

Each smudge kit contains:

• Feather - one 8" x 2 1/2" dyed turkey feather.
• White Sage - in a zip bag.
• Sweet Grass - one braided stick approximately 7-8 inches long.
• Abalone Shell (bowl) - approximately 3" x 2" but some are larger and some a bit smaller.
• Medicine Bag - deerskin or elkskin, hand sewn with sinew.
