This is a complete hand made rope hackamore
that I purchased in Nayarit Mexico.

It consists of:

Hand braided from black and white cotton
and linen thread.

Leather reinforcements.

Bosalillo, Mecate and Riendas

Mexican Bosal with Fiador,
Mecate (Lead Rope) and Reins

The noseband of the bosal is 3/4" at the widest point at the front.

The inside dimensions of the bosal are approximately 9 1/2" long and 5" wide.

The rope is 3/8" in diameter

This is designed to be used on an already trained horse as it is finely made and for parade or display.
