Lasiloo Blue Marble Frog with Power Spots
This is a really nice frog. The stone seems to have some iridescent specs in it which makes the color magic.
From Zuni Fetishes and Carvings by Kent McManis:
The Lasiloo family "is known for its emphasis on variety of materials...mostly create highly stylized animals... The late Eugene Mahooty first started carving in the he late 1970s followed by Lloyd Lasiloo and finally Al Lasiloo in the early 1980s. They worked with then in-law Rodney Laiwakete who helped spread the art to his brothers.
