Paula says - "The amazing detail in this Squash Blossom pendant was so hard for me to capture in a photo but scroll to the bottom of the page to see a bigger closeup. Since the pendant is slightly cupped, there is a three-dimensional feel to it like a shallow woven basket. Incredible workmanship."

From the Artist, Roland Begay

"I'm not much for talking about me. I started casting with the Morgans in 1973. And I started making story teller jewelry end of that year, but I call it home scene because it is what I remember seeing growing up at my grandparents' place. I rodeoed in my younger days, ran barrels, trained barrel horses. I enjoy creating jewelry. I have sooo many ideas that I want to create but just so much I can do each day." R. H. Begay.

Begay's work has won awards at the Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial and at the Heard Museum's annual show in Phoenix.
