About Boulder Turquoise

Most turquoise is cut so that the turquoise is the main stone with matrix in the stone. With boulder turquoise, the turquoise is the seam that runs through the Mother rock. The turquoise is the accent and the host rock is the base and can be of various stones and colors. Some call it ribbon turquoise. Often from the Royston mine in Nevada.
