Bonnie immediately finds that her comfortable middle-class upbringing in Detroit did little to prepare her for living in the bush without phone, electricity, or running water. But she's determined to meet every challenge head on - including the long winter nights and bears! Sadly, nobody told Bonnie about the ghosts her husband brought back from Vietnam. But, as they say, love conquers all. Or does it?
