For many years I was a photojournalist for various horse publications including Horse & Rider, The Chronicle of the Horse, American Farrier's Journal and a dozen others. Since 1988 I've writtten over 30 books on horse training and care, with translations into eleven foreign languages.

Now, I am embarking on my fiction career, something I've planned for a long time! Stay tuned for my first release!

Besides writing, I've been a college and university instructor in Equine Science, a horse trainer, and show judge. I've lived in Michigan, Iowa, Alaska, Canada and six other U.S. states. Since 1983, my husband, Richard Klimesh, and I have lived in the Colorado foothills where I enjoy mountain biking, playing my Estonia grand piano, and making three meals a day from scratch.
