Horse Show Checklists

Dear Cherry,

I will be going to my first horse show this weekend.  I will only be there for one day. It is about 30-45 minutes from my house.

Can you please give me some information on what I should bring to the show with me. Any items that I may be forgetting?

  Hi K,

To answer you, I'm going to print this excerpt from my award-winning book "101 Horsemanship and Equitation Patterns" which will give you some checklists you can start with - you'll want to customize them to suit your situation.

Be sure to visit my site at www.horsekeeping.com where you can find other information on all aspects of horse training, riding, and care and where you can learn more about my books, some of which would be perfectly suited to your needs.

Besides the one I mentioned, you should take a look at "From the Center of the Ring" and "Trailering Your Horse".   Best of luck,

Cherry Hill
