"What an ingenious design with the wide top entry to load and unload! This is an very clean bag in exceptionally nice condition. It didn't score higher that 8.5 because there are a few scuff marks on the bottom edges and the handles are a bit darkened. And don't let the word SMALL throw you - that is just Dooney & Bourke's means of separating it from the large Norfolk. Look at the dimensions - this bag holds a lot!"
Five brass feet protect the leather bottom. Hand-fitted is the term Dooney & Bourke uses to describe the hand blocked heavy leather base. This type of base holds its shape and helps keep the bag upright.
