Artist	Rose Castillo Draper, Navajo
RD is hallmark of Navajo silversmith Rose Castillo Draper who worked in Albuquerque Native American jewelry shops in 1978-1979. She was married to Lee Draper. Her mother is Bessie Castillo, a Navajo silversmith from the Torres, New Mexico region. Previously she used RC hallmark for Rose Castillo.

The Silver Fox Collection

This collection of jewelry was purchased in 1978 by a professor at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque who was very interested in turquoise and who had intended to start a small business selling Native American jewelry. He bought the items from a friend who worked for Frontier Trading Post and Silver Fox. His plans for a turquoise jewelry business never materialized and the collection has been packed away since then, until we recently obtained it. All items in The Silver Fox Collection are vintage but unused.
