About Leland Boone

Leland Boone is a Zuni carver of the renowned Boone family that is known for high quality fetish carvings. The Boones are among the few carvers who work with glass, which requires special water-cooled equipment that few Zuni carvers have. Leland is the son of Lena Boone and he often works with his wife, Daphne Quam. Their joint work is inscribed: LTB DQ.
