Never consult or ask a fetish for help if you are not of "good heart".

Exchange breath with the fetish when asking for help. Holding the fetish close to your lips, enfold the fetish with your breath with a deep exhale. Then breathe in deeply, taking in the spirit of the fetish.

Fetishes should not be washed, just lightly dusted.
