Paula says: "This vintage petit point watch cuff is simple and stunning. Two stones have hairline cracks but they are tight and stable. Several stones have had voids filled with what appears to be a clear epoxy. The fills are well done, polished and smooth to the touch. All stones are firmly set in serrated bezels. It comes with the Timex Electric timepiece with blue face that came with the cuff when we bought it. This item is sold AS IS.

"Are you wondering why this item is not described as Native American? You can find the answer by clicking here."

Vintage Watch Cuffs

When we sell a vintage watch cuff, we sell it in the condition it was when we received it. The Timex timepiece shown came with this cuff and will stay with it. Some of our customers purchase these watch cuffs for their collections, others to wear, so we leave everything AS-IS and let you decide.

If you want to replace the timepiece or put a new battery in the timepiece but your local jeweler is not familiar with Native American jewelry, you can find contact information here for an excellent shop that we use for all of our jewelry repairs. After purchase from us, you can send the watch to them for a new timepiece or battery, resizing, or a face lift - anything from a light cleaning to a full polishing. - Paula

We leave the natural patina on our pawn jewelry because many of our customers like the old "vintage" appearance. If you'd like to clean up your silver jewelry, new or old, check out our handy silver cleaning and polishing cloth.

What is Petit Point?

There are two similar techniques of using very small pieces of stone to decorate a piece and they are often confused.

Petit Point is comprised of long , narrow teardrop-shaped stones that have one rounded end and one more pointed end.

Needle Point is comprised of straight, long, narrow stones that are pointed on both ends.

NOTE: Items in our Vintage Shop are either USED or NEW. They might come from inheritances, estate sales, private collections, and store liquidations. Many items are brand new (, New Old Stock) and in perfect condition while others may show tarnish, scratches and other signs of use. Major issues will be described in detail and shown in photos. Vintage Shop items are sold as described and are not returnable.
Why isn't this item called Native American?

The US Department of the Interior Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 and its recent Amendments require that items described as Native American or Indian be made by an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. Furthermore, government regulations suggest that all attributions include the Native American Indian's name, tribe and federal tribal enrollment number. Because it is impossible to identify the artist for many vintage items, even if they are authentic Indian made items, we cannot and will not use the words Native American or Indian in association with such pieces.
